Ingá Park

Ingá Park is a protected forest of 47.3 hectares in Maringá city, Paraná. It still preserves the original layout of the city.  It was inaugurated on September 22nd, 1975, and it was declared a permanent conservation area in 1991 as a Municipal Park, according to the Municipal Organic Law.
With its natural beauty, it is a wildlife sanctuary in the urban center and attracts over one million visitors per year - mostly students from the regionof Maringá and from other states.

Curiosities:

Did you know that inside the park there is a laboratory where everyone can learn in practice the meaning of words related to conservation and environmental awareness?
Did you know the park was closed?
Unfortunately after discovering the cause of death of the monkeys that caused the closing of the park for 100 days, but it remained closed for renovations.
After the reopening of the park some people had a small disappointment because of they would like to see more animals there.
Ingá Park is a fantastic place to visit in Maringá.
